Xmas Trip Part 2 - Chicago

The weather inside the fern room at the Green house was beautiful. Almost real January temp's for the cold Aussie's.
The kids loved the zoo. But we were all suprised that the zoo described kangaroos as being perfectly adapted to the Chicago weather. It was sunny, but look at the coats we were wearing to keep warm.
The chimps and gorillas were a big hit. Freya was most impressed by seeing a gorilla poo. WHile Opal loved watching them all, but was scared whenever the gorillas moved near the glass (but not the chimps).
The only penguin at the zoo. But it is what Freya keeps talking about.

One of hte highlights of a hotel is always the pool.  Here is Humpty Dumpty!
